Pro-Choice” Planned Parenthood Discourages Choosing Life

by Abigail Ross

July 24, 2019

Planned Parenthood’s vision is a “pro-choice” America. The nation’s largest abortion supplier claims to support a woman’s right to make her own health decisions, which, in their opinion, should always include abortion. However, they do the exact opposite of supporting all women’s health decisions.

Planned Parenthood’s agenda is not focused on women, but on profit. The abortion supplier does not support the life-ending abortion procedure as one option among many, but as the only viable option. Planned Parenthood honors a woman’s choice for her baby’s life as long as she chooses to abort her unborn child, therefore increasing Planned Parenthood’s profits.

Former Planned Parenthood employees have revealed that the organization’s boasts about supporting a woman’s choice are inaccurate. Choice is often unwelcome in the doors of their clinics. Their employees have coerced women into getting an abortion over adoption or raising their child. They have ignored the pleas of women who chose life for their baby.

Planned Parenthood furthers the irony of “choice” as the pro-abortion mantra by aiding those who force women to get abortions. Parents, the fathers, abusers, or even pimps often force girls and women to end the life of their unborn baby regardless of her wishes. Planned Parenthood has assisted these people by honoring their wishes to abort the baby, sometimes against the woman’s desire to let the baby live.

Planned Parenthood has assisted sex traffickers and abusers by supplying the abortions they request and then returning the victims back to their pimp or abuser. In a report from the Annals of Health Law, more than half of sex trafficking victims in the United States visit a clinic, most commonly Planned Parenthood. The organization has adopted a “don’t ask, don’t tell” attitude, even though employees are mandated reporters, which requires them by law to report even suspected instances of abuse or trafficking.

Lauren, a human trafficking survivor, says, “No one ever asked me anything when I went to a [Planned Parenthood] clinic.” Lauren was so young that a Planned Parenthood doctor had to sign a waiver for her to receive medication. Planned Parenthood does not fulfil their legal and moral obligation to report instances of abuse and human trafficking. They allow these abusers to force their victims into abortions, regardless of if the mother wanted to let her baby live, and then allow the women to be returned back into these abusive situations. This has happened time and time again within the clinics’ doors, such as in the instances below.

  • In 2017 a report was filed against George Savanah documenting the abuse of his 13-year-old daughter. Savanah raped his daughter over many years. When she became pregnant at 14, 16, and 17 years old, he took her to Planned Parenthood for an abortion. Planned Parenthood did not report the crime and returned the daughter back to her abusive father. Many cases like Savanah’s have come to light with the same heartbreaking outcome—girls were placed back into abusive situations as a result of Planned Parenthood’s failure to report.
  • Live Action released an undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood. In this investigation, actors posed as a pimp and one of his sex workers. Multiple Planned Parenthood employees, who were made fully aware that the customers were involved in a sex ring, failed to report the crime. Additionally, they even aided the pimp and gave him advice to get birth control and abortions for his sex workers, many of whom he claimed were minors.
  • After Live Action released their investigation, Planned Parenthood responded by calling a mandatory training on how to spot and report sex trafficking for their employees. However, they yet again failed to right the dangerous problem within their walls. The training simply taught employees how to identify if they were being recorded and how to avoid saying anything incriminating on camera. Lila Rose, president of Live Action, responded, “When confronted with child sex traffickers, Planned Parenthood cared more about protecting its image than protecting children.”

Planned Parenthood boasts about how they help women make their own health decisions. They have not done this. They have allowed parents, boyfriends, and even pimps and abusers to coerce mothers to abort their unborn babies. Planned Parenthood has allowed women to stay trapped in abusive situations.

This issue has not gone unrecognized by the Trump administration. The administration took action by publishing the “Protect Life Rule” which prohibits family planning clinics that receive Title X funding from referring women for abortions. The Trump administration has taken action to protect the lives of innocent babies, thereby helping to reduce the amount of federal funding that Planned Parenthood receives, an organization which cunningly manipulates women into abortions.

In reality, Planned Parenthood does not comply with the pro-abortion mantra “pro-choice.” The nation’s foremost abortion supplier cannot see past dollar signs and deceives women into “choosing” what is best for their organization, ending the life of a baby.

Simone Biles Would Have Been Planned Parenthood’s Perfect Target

by Arina Grossu

August 12, 2016

By now you’ve probably seen or heard about the best female gymnast that ever lived, Simone Biles. She is wowing everyone at the Olympics this summer. Simone Biles’ margin of victory is 2.1, larger than the margins of victory from 1980 to 2012 combined. She’s already won gold for team and individual all-around at Rio Olympics. All this girl does is win:

Not only is she the first female gymnast since 1974 to win four consecutive all-around titles at the U.S. national championships, but she’s also the first woman ever to be the all-around world champion three years in a row. Not to mention that she’s won fourteen total world championships medals-the most ever won by an American woman.”

Recently it came to light that Simone Biles was born in March 1997 in Columbus, Ohio to Shannon Biles, who at the time was an “unfit” drug and alcohol addict and who was unable to take care of Simone and her younger sister Adria. Their father, who also struggled with addictions, abandoned Shannon and was not part of the children’s life. They were shuffled back and forth between her mom’s house and foster care for her first three years of life. When she was three years old, her maternal grandfather, Ron, and his second wife, Nellie, brought Simone and her sister to Spring, Texas, which is a suburb of Houston. When Simone was six years old, they officially adopted the girls, becoming “mom and dad.” Her adoption story is well-documented here.

NBC Olympics describes Biles as “fearless, teaching herself to do back flips off her family’s mailbox before she even took a gymnastics class. It was a daycare field trip to a gym that led her to the sport—the six-year-old saw the older girls flipping and twisting and immediately started copying them.”

The instructors suggested she continue doing gymnastics. As the story goes, “she returned home with an information packet and a single, insistent demand: enroll me at the gym.” Biles then enrolled in an optional training program at Bannon’s Gymnastix at age six. This was late by competitive standards, since most aspiring gymnasts start as soon as they can walk. She began her training with Aimee Boorman at eight years of age, her coach now of eleven years. And the rest is history.

Her story are what fairy tales are made of. We love the underdog. We love stories of human strength that defy all odds.

Yet, she would have been the perfect target of Planned Parenthood. It’s no secret that Planned Parenthood targets blacks and minorities: 79% of Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of African American or Hispanic/Latino neighborhoods, according to 2010 U.S. Census data.

LiveAction also revealed that Planned Parenthood accepts money for aborting black babies.

Black women make up only 13% of the female population in the United States, but they undergo approximately 28% of the abortions. In the U.S., black children are aborted at nearly four times the rate of white children. In fact, one in three black babies are killed in the womb. Simone Biles seems to have defied the odds in more ways than at first glance.

Margaret Sanger, founder of what is now known as Planned Parenthood, would have wanted women like Shannon never to have children. In her 1920 book “Woman and the New Race”, Sanger said, “By all means, there should be no children when either mother or father suffers from such diseases as tuberculosis, gonorrhea, syphilis, cancer, epilepsy, insanity, drunkenness and mental disorders.”

In a 1957 interview with Mike Wallace, Sanger mused: “I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world, that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically… Delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they’re born. That to me is the greatest sin-that people can-can commit.”

By Sanger and Planned Parenthood’s standard, Simone Biles would have been eliminated.

Yet Simone Biles stands before us, a marvel of a human being, having beat the odds. This is the constant message of the pro-life movement. No one, absolutely no one, is beyond hope or possibility. Each unborn child deserves the right to life, even when the circumstances seem dire. How many others like Simone Biles who would have started from less-than-ideal circumstances but were not even given a chance at life? How many Olympians, presidents, politicians, and artists have we aborted? Fifty-nine million babies with infinite potential have been aborted in the U.S. since Roe v. Wade in 1973. Without the fundamental right to life, no other rights or potentialities are possible.

Simone Biles’ story also highlights the power of adoption. Every child is a wanted child, whether by her biological family or by someone else. Simone’s biological mother spoke of her deep admiration for Simone’s adoptive mother saying, “It takes a hell of a woman to raise her husband’s child’s children. I’m very blessed and thankful for that. It was the right thing at the time.”

While Simone Biles has undeniable exceptional talent, her worth does not come even from her talent. It comes from the fact that she is human. All people are valuable and necessary, not because of what they do, but because they simply are. Yet, we can also rejoice and marvel at the beauty, strength, and talent of Olympian athletes like Simone Biles who demonstrate for us the peak of athletic human excellence.

We’re glad you’re here Simone and we’re glad for adoption. The world would, literally, not be the same without you.

Ultrasounds Save Lives

by Arina Grossu

March 4, 2015

A survey conducted by the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA), a national legal network of prolife pregnancy centers, showed how powerful ultrasounds are in changing the minds of abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable patients.

NIFLA stated in a press release:

Four-hundred and ten (410) of NIFLA’s medical membership (less than one-half) reported providing 75,318 ultrasound confirmations of pregnancy in 2013 on patients identified as either abortion-minded or abortion-vulnerable. Of these abortion at risk patients, 58,634 chose to carry to term, indicating that 78% of those mothers who saw an ultrasound image of their unborn child before deciding about abortion chose life.

When asked whether ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy has a positive impact upon a mother considering abortion to choose life 83.5% said “Absolutely,” 15.76% said “More than likely,” and 0.74% said, “Only a small impact.”

Planned Parenthood and abortion advocates will do all they can to conceal the reality that abortion kills babies.  That is why they refer to preborn babies as “tissues” or “products of conception” and oftentimes dissuade women from looking at their ultrasounds.  Technology reveals the truth that they try to hide from women.  When a woman sees her preborn child on an ultrasound, with a beating heart by 22 days post-fertilization, she will most likely choose life—78% of abortion-minded or abortion-vulnerable mothers who saw their ultrasounds did!  It is not a coincidence that 83.5% said that the ultrasound “Absolutely” has a positive impact and another 15.76% said that it “More than likely” did.

We are seeing a trend in women connecting with their babies before birth.  Four dimensional ultrasounds (4-D) have done wonders in revealing to us the humanity of the child.  One ultrasound company did a 3-D/4-D photo contest asking parents to send in their child’s ultrasounds and photo post-birth, generally in the same pose as their ultrasound. The results are stunning, revealing the striking resemblance of these children’s mannerisms, both in the womb and outside of it.  There is also a new phenomenon of women doing 3-D printing of their ultrasounds for as little as $250.  A writer at the Washington Post admitted that it “could perhaps change the abortion debate.”  When the humanity of the preborn child is revealed with the help of technology, both the child and the mom win.

Why Planned Parenthood’s Abortion Quotas are Anti-Women

by Family Research Council

July 3, 2014

Most of us don’t expect to hear a sales pitch when we go to a healthcare appointment.

However, that’s what women get when they go to Planned Parenthood.

A new development in Planned Parenthood’s continued desire to coax women into choosing abortion has surfaced, according to reports from Breitbart.com and CNS news.

A Planned Parenthood clinic in Aurora Colorado has recently received an award for “exceeding abortion visits [in the] first half of FY12 compared to the first half of FY13,” from the Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains,

Why should women care that Planned Parenthood is giving its satellite clinics a pat on the back?

Because this clinic’s certificate for being an abortion “over achiever” confirms that Planned Parenthood has minimum quotas for abortions.

Abortion quotas put clinics in the business of promoting these life-ending procedures instead of serving women according to their needs. The abortion award in Colorado only further verifies testimonies about Planned Parenthood’s agenda from previous employees, such as Marianne Anderson. Marianne Anderson, who worked at a Planned Parenthood in Indianapolis for two and a half years, told The Criterion:

You have to have so many [abortions] a month to stay open. In our meetings they’d tell us, ‘If abortions are down, you could get sent home early and not get as many hours.’”

Planned Parenthood being in the business of peddling abortions above other options is nothing new. A pamphlet by Family Research Council states:

According to estimates, a first trimester non-subsidized abortion costs approximately $550. As reported in their 2010 annual report, Planned Parenthood performed 329,445 abortions, yielding approximately $181,000,000 in revenue—solely from abortions performed that year. In contrast, Planned Parenthood made 841 adoption referrals in 2010.

Last year Planned Parenthood performed 327,166 abortions and raked in revenue of $1.21 billion dollars last, 45% of which was funded by tax payers, according to their annual report.

Planned Parenthood, like any other business, wants to make as much money as possible. But it is disingenuous—if not immoral—for this organization to claim it has women’s health as its top priority while also setting incentives for employees to push one (lucrative) option on women.

When vulnerable women enter a clinic they expect to meet a professional who values their health. Not a salesperson, eager to pawn off a product. It is clear, then, that Planned Parenthood cares more about its profit margins than the women it claims to serve.

Girl Scouts Deny Sex Guide Was at UN Meeting for Girls: But it Was There

by Cathy Ruse

March 15, 2010

Our friends at CFam, the pro-life watch dogs at the United Nations helmed by my husband Austin, issued a blockbuster last week when they revealed that the Girl Scouts had a meeting for girls only at the UN last week which included a Planned Parenthood guide for sex. It was a no-adults-allowed affair; any adult not associated with the Girl Scouts was kicked out.

The Girl Scouts have been officially pro-choice for years. Now theyre pushing promiscuous sex on the girls. Heres an excerpt from page 11 of the Planned Parenthood guide offered at the secret meeting:

Some people have sex when they have been drinking alcohol or using drugs. This is your choice. Being drunk or high can affect the decisions you might make about sex or safer sex. If you want to have sex and think you might get drunk or high, plan ahead by bringing condoms and lube or putting them close to where you usually have sex.

Apparently Planned Parenthood does advocate some limits to sex: It is not okay to have sex with someone who is so drunk or high that they are staggering, incoherent or have passed out. (What prudes!)

C-Fams report has rocketed around the Girl Scout world. Girl Scout officials have issued denials that the brochure was even present at the meeting while faith-filled Girl Scout leaders are up in arms and threatening to leave. C-Fam stands by its report: the Planned Parenthood sex guide was at the meeting.
